As the month of Mary draws to a close, one final song courtesy of Mary Immaculate Catholic School’s Matthew Krause.
Eighth graders at All Saints Catholic School took one last walk down the hallways before making their way towards graduation, then high school. The tradition is called “The Last Walk” and is meant as a celebratory and reflective moment for the students.
In ceremonies across the Diocese of Dallas, students from Dallas Catholic schools marked May 1 with a May Crowning ceremony to honor Mary, the Blessed Mother of Jesus.
As part of the ceremony, students put fresh-cut spring flowers at the feet of an alabaster statue of Mary in church’s sanctuary.
