Living bee hive creates a big buzz

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School was buzzing with activity May 16 as it received an observation honeybee hive from The Bee Cause Project.

With their fellow students looking on, Jared Campbell and A.J. Anderhub walked onto an empty football field at Cistercian Preparatory School with a drone they literally created from scratch. The two senior students were fairly confident their drone would finally fly.

Possibilities soar at Bishop Dunne

Brad Baker’s varied contributions as a Bishop Dunne Catholic School teacher for 17 years have included instruction in geography, earth science, GIS mapping, even how to survive natural disasters. The University of North Texas graduate was named “Outstanding Diocesan High School Teacher of the Year” in 2012.
